Magnetic drawers are constructed with a set of magnetic grates and housing. Single-layer or multi-layer structures can be arranged inside the housing based on material properties. This unit is normally installed inside pipelines, so the mounting method needs to be confirmed by customers.
Magnetic drawers are ideal for separating medium and fine ferrous impurities from various dry free-flowing materials. They are widely applied in the food and chemical industries. Magnetic bars fitted inside the housing generate a strong magnetic field in the gaps between bars. When materials feed into the top of the housing, they flow down in a zig-zag path across each row of magnetic tubes. This design maximizes the capture of tramp iron contaminants, as materials make direct and repeated contact with magnetic components during passage.
